Bird Dog Life
The life of a dog is not always easy but, if you are the right kind of dog, and live in the right place, it isn't all bad. Herein lies the history of the Smith dogs and how they came to be.... Whatever they are.
This is Katy in her standard position. Notice the plastic foot under her chin.
It started as Jessie's puppy toy but Katie took it over and always slept with her head resting on it. A bit strange that Tink not only took up KT's position on the couch but the rubber foot as well.
Katy spent three years in treatment for cancer before she finally gave up.
She was a brave and tough dog. She was also a happy dog right up to the last few hours.
We all miss her.
